Nestlé is well known throughout the UK and it's geographical spread reaches far afield. It's headquarters are in Switzerland and it's European sites include Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the Ukraine - plus many others. Nestlé's product range is huge, consisting of baby foods, cereals, bottled water, confectionary, coffee, chilled and frozen food, dairy, drinks, ice cream, petcare, sports nutrition and more.

The Barilla Group is an Italian and European food manufacturer, founded in 1877. It has been a family business since creation and has passed through four generations of the Barilla family. It is the worlds leading pasta manufacturer. It has a number of manufacturing sites across Europe including Greece, Sweden and Turkey, and has a number of corporate offices in France, Holland, Poland and Sweden.

A number of other food and drink manufacturing companies based throughout Europe include Unilever, Danone, Ferrero SpA, Parmalat and Yoplait.
