Hygiene Manager

Job Description

Working for this innovative chilled and frozen poultry manufacturer you will be responsible for ensuring all cleaning standards are maintained. This is a demanding role with a challenging remit; you will be responsible for a number of teams and have strong motivational and training methods to ensure that department KPI's support business requirements, and that KPI's are clearly communicated and understood by your team guaranteeing that a safe working environment exists for all employees in the Hygiene function as well as ensuring that all cleaning standards are maintained at agreed levels. You will be accountable for all hygiene activities across this food production site, embracing pest control, waste management, laundry and washroom functions. You will have responsibility for running the hygiene budget, providing detailed forecasts on a monthly basis for these areas and for purchasing chemicals, consumables and equipment. A track record in the aforementioned accountabilities is essential as is a flexible approach to working hours, as you will be required to work alongside the hygiene team who operate on a twilight shift . The successful applicant will have excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills and experience within auditing and budget management would be advantageous. JH6174
