Job Description

Assistant Technical Manager £35 - £45,000 Based Nottinghamshire Providing direction and support to the Technical team for a leading chilled food manufacturer, this is a great opportunity to be part of the technical function encompassing quality, laboratory, food safety and legislation, quality assurance and factory standards. You will be responsible for effectively managing communication with customers, both internal and external, suppliers and local authorities. Your role will include facilitating all third party and formal independent audits, provide technical support for NPD, conformance on all specifications and recipes and to ensure best practice is maintained across the site. The ideal candidate will ideally have 3 years or more in a comparable role with Pastry or Meat knowledge, Advanced Food Safety, HACCP and BRC knowledge with a strong emphasis on raw material, retailer, budget and performance management.
