Senior Process Quality Technologist

Job Description

How would you like to join one of the largest major retail suppliers? Our client has set up a smaller business within their company to concentrate on a smaller number of premium products and require someone to focus on the quality and safety through from concept to launch. Process efficiency and optimisation is covered primarily by the highly skilled operations team so they are looking for someone to champion the product quality in the following areas:

· Implement, maintain and improve technical systems
· Drive hygiene and GMP standards
· Ensure all non-compliances are followed up
· Ensure adherence to effective quality systems
· Ensure that the operation teams maintain appropriate skills at all levels to deliver quality standards
· Implement and use effective early warning triggers to prevent quality issues occurring

So in a nutshell, we are looking for an experienced technologist with a proven track record of proactive management of technical systems ideally within a chilled food environment with a clear understanding of HACCP, microbiology and food hygiene.
