Specifications Technologist

Job Description

Our client is a major manufacturer and supplier of chilled foods, they now require a computer literate and detail conscious Specifications Technologist who will play a pivotal role in dealing with all specification, customer complaints and quality issues.

The key responsibilities demanded by this role include:
-Management & maintenance of specifications including retailer web based specification systems, individual product specifications and on-line specifications
-Co-ordination & response of customer complaints/issues
-Evaluate any exceptions and set targets accordingly
-Resolving issues when applicable and communicating corrective actions to all levels, internally and externally.
-Generation of weekly Quality reports
-Preparation & involvement of BRC, Soil Association, Labelling, ABM and other third party audits
-Co-ordination of HACCP
-You would have to provide structured and ad-hoc reports to the business and the customers.

As a confident and professional Specifications Technologist you will have good food manufacturing experience dealing with specification processing and handling customer issues.
