Quality Manager - FMCG Meat Sector

Job Description

Our client is a fmcg meat manufacturer based in Scotland who are currently looking for an experienced Quality Manager with experience within the fmcg meat manufacturing sector. Your key focus will be to implement systems that ensure the quality of all products and monitor hygiene standards within the factory. As Quality Manager within this meat manufacturing environment you will be required to perform audits covering raw materials through to finish product and apply corrective action to any non- compliance. You will manage the QA team and work in conjunction with other members of the management team to consistently monitor and review general standards on the factory floor. Furthermore, as Quality Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality manual, reviewing HACCP and complying with BRC standards. This is a demanding site so the ideal candidate will need to have strong communication and leadership skills, have a proven track record of managing a team and have the ability to drive new initiatives and support business development.
