Quality Manager

Job Description

My client is a leading provider within the food manufacturing sector. A multi-site manufacturer, they are a profitable and ambitious company that supply major food producers and retailers alike.

They are now looking for a Quality Manager to work within their technical function based out of their Lancashire production facility. You will manage a small technical team which will include Quality Assurance Technicians and Technical Administrators and be responsible for all quality issues relating to the site. These will include, but are not restricted to, hygiene, customer specifications, raw material specifications, quality audits and Food Legislation. You will be QA focussed and a self starter who takes a real passion for their work. You will have a strong character and be able to demonstrate good leadership skills.

This is a Quality Manager (QM) role with a difference as you will be given a lot of autonomy and opportunity to add your input with a highly reputable food manufacturer. It will suit anyone who lives in the North Manchester / Lancashire / Merseyside area such as Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan, Rochdale, Wirral or Greater Manchester.
