Technical Manager - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join this leading chilled food manufacturer as a Technical Manager. Reporting to the Site Technical Director you will manage and oversee all related food quality and food safety requirements within this multi-purpose manufacturing site. You will be required to perform audits covering raw materials through to finished product and drive the implementation of robust quality and technical systems. You will manage a team of technical support managers as well as the NPD function ensuring customers' expectations are met for NPD plans as well as quality. As Technical Manager, you will also be responsible for maintaining the quality manual, reviewing HACCP and complying with BRC standards. The successful candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills coupled with a proven track record of managing quality teams.

Based in Somerset, this is a role which will provide a level of responsibility and input to the entire business as a whole so they require an individual who will challenge, implement and add strategic input.
