What will you do?
You'll learn how to source and buy a host of different materials as you negotiate with suppliers and liaise with manufacturers right across Europe. You'll build your commercial know-how, work closely with a range of internal departments and boost and your ability to persuade and influence.

What do we look for?
At least 280 UCAS points and a 2:1 or above in any subject.

What does the training cover?
Everything. After a week-long corporate induction at our Head Office with all our graduate recruits, you can look forward to:

• a thorough induction into Purchasing
• your own Mentor from the senior management team
• a personal development plan
• a number of placements in different Purchasing teams 
• off-the-job training to boost your leadership skills and business knowledge
• absorbing projects that will take you outside your function and comfort zone
• or performance reviews linked to stretching objectives.

How long does it last?
Two and a half years, starting September 2010.

Where will you be based?
Mainly at Kitt Green, near Wigan, Greater Manchester although you'll also have a four-month placement at our Head office in Middlesex. What's more, you could find yourself travelling across the UK and Europe.

What are the rewards like?
Very competitive. As well as a £25,000 starting salary expect performance-related bonuses, pension scheme, private healthcare, 27 days' holiday and company share scheme.
