Interim Packaging Technologist

Job Description

We are currently looking for an interim packaging technologist to join a large blue chip organisation who are a key supplier of chilled products into the major multiples. We require someone who has a key understanding of packaging materials but who can also appreciate the fast pace of an own label production environment. The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiastic, can-do attitude and have the ability to initiate and drive developments to completion against testing timescales. They will organise and execute a number of development projects, in line with marketing, supply chain and purchasing requirements, with due consideration for factors including packaging materials price and availability, manufacturing costs, legal constraints and company quality standards. This is an urgent requirement so candidates need to have almost immediate availability.
