Stock Controller

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a major player within the food industry and require someone with an analytical mind to manage stock levels within a busy food environment. The stock being managed will be raw materials and packaging and so someone with similar experience within a FMCG and ideally food environment will suit best. Other accountabilities will be:

· To produce information on the daily stock position, including compilation of opening stocks, input of deliveries and adjusted factory requirements.
· To amend orders in order to maintain required stock level.
· To ensure all products are purchased at the optimum cost to the business.
· To provide cover in other positions where necessary

Therefore we require someone with good computer skills including spreadsheet and database experience and a strong decision maker.
