We have a position for a planner to come in and join a busy department which is part of a huge food group. The role will be to produce daily production plans and a short term forecast while ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained using the sites bespoke programmes. We are looking for someone who is:

Competent in excel and other MS programmes
able to work accurately and logically with excellent attention to detail
flexible and adaptable to cope with the day to day changes in scheduling
FMCG experience in a similar position and ideally from the food industry
The key accountability for this role is forecasting in the short term to ensure production stability and so customer service levels are maintained at 100%. You should also be interested in continually improving systems to drive this business to a market leading position. Waste control and yield information data will be important to analyse and control WIP and finished good stocks will also play a key role in this position.
