Management Accounts Assistant

Job Description

We are currently looking for someone to work with the accountant to provide support to the management team in understanding the business performance of the site which will include sales, margin, operational performance and materials prices. You will also be tasked with ensuring correct financial procedures are applied on site and managing the accounting and budget control for site overheads. Additionally you will:

· Produce and issue weekly accounts, collating and reviewing reports to understand trends on sales, operation performance and raw material prices
· Develop robust standard costing information, that accurately reflects the performance of the business and set up on the ERP system
· Actively participate in the finance projects across the business
· Agree agency labour costs and complete relevant reports, including verifying invoices.

We are looking for relevant experience within a finance or accounts department, ideally within the food industry. Excellent Microsoft skills are required and ideally you will be studying towards CIMA or ATT qualifications.
