Project Leaders Product Development
With ambition to find successful nutritional solutions for culinary products - Oud-Beijerland

Position

• Responsible for executing and delivering projects by creating and developing new concepts and recipes, from ideas towards manufacturing start up
• Using consumer research techniques to define, evaluate and develop new product ideas in a team environment with other technological expertise and disciplines
• Managing the day to day planning of projects and ensuring milestones are met
• Considering and integrating latest knowledge in nutrition and technology for developing products
• Supporting continuous improvement actions in close collaboration with process development, manufacturing, quality and activity management
• Coaching and motivating (Junior) Product Developers during projects
• Working closely together with local and international marketing and consumer focus teams
• Reporting to the Manager Product Development

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry or Nutrition
• Relevant work experience in R&D, Marketing or Operations and affinity with product design and development
• Project management skills and able to meet deadlines with cross-functional teams
• Able to translate your passion for food into new concepts
• Challenged to develop your career further in a professional, dynamic and international organisation
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
• Fit with Mars' culture and specific job competences: creativity, innovation management, planning, motivating others, conflict management, dealing with ambiguity and customer focus
