Product Developer

Job Description

A Product Developer is required for this chilled Bakery / Dessert manufacturing company. You must have a minimum of two year previous experience in a professional kitchen or within the NPD function of a dessert / bakery manufacturing site and you will need to have a real empathy for dessert / bakery category, with a real flair for product and recipe innovation. You will work from customer brief or on specific creative projects that will require real focus and inspirational thinking. Working to cost and factory constraints - maximising factory potential will be your challenge. It is essential you are able to problem solve and work with other departments, communicate effectively understanding their role in the NPD cycle working as a team drawing on others expertise and skill.

You may have served your trade as a Pastry Chef and be looking for a change in career direction this could also suit you - alternatively you may have an HND or Degree in a food related subject and thrive on hands on development with a forte for dessert and bakery we would like to hear from you.
