Management Accountant - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

Site based Management Accountant for a four month period, this role is working for a leading food manufacturer. You will be responsible for the provision of weekly management accounts, develop robust standard costing information that accurately reflects the performance of the business. You will have experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment, provision of NPD and current line costing information and development of management reporting systems to improve accuracy and clarity of information. A key responsibility will be the preparation and communication of weekly P&L. Working alongside the Factory Accountant, the Management Accountant's responsibilities will cover the full P&L, picking up both commercial finance through to the more traditional areas of factory finance; costings, variances and overheads. The role will assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly P&L schedules, budgets, forecasts and capital expenditure. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to gain a wide range of FMCG manufacturing experience in a fast paced, private equity business. Previous experience of FMCG is essential.
