Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

This leading chilled food manufacturing business is seeking a multi skilled engineering technician to join their proactive engineering and maintenance team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will provide engineering support to the fast paced production environment carrying out breakdown assistance and planned preventative maintenance to factory equipment and site services. You will assist with project work ensuring the transition into the production environment is as smooth as possible.

Applicants can be electrically or mechanical biased but should have a recognised electrical qualification. A time-served apprenticeship and good understanding of PLC's is preferable. Strong communication skills, a 'can-do' approach and previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments is essential.

This role is commutable from areas within North Lincolnshire, Humberside, East Yorkshire and North Yorkshire.
