This multifaceted Assistant Procurement Manager role will support the Procurement and Technical Managers ensuring sufficient product at the agreed quality is delivered on time.

Liaising with suppliers you will co-ordinate contracts and resolve any supply issues developing trust based relationships. You will ensure suppliers have the required accreditations and that the quality management procedures and specifications are in place and maintained. You will also carry out sensory evaluations and take QC samples for both raw material and finished product.

The preferred candidate will posses high levels of honesty and integrity, a strong commercial acumen, experience of sourcing and procuring product from overseas and a working knowledge of food safety and HACCP systems. You will be analytical and computer literate with an intermediate level of Excel. Spoken Spanish would be beneficial but not essential.
