Hygiene Manager

Job Description

Experienced Hygiene Manager required to join a leading FMCG food manufacturer based commutable from areas including Corby, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Peterborough.

You will be responsible for facilitating effective management of the hygiene systems on site whilst verifying and validating methods and standards. You will report and take appropriate action to safeguard the business if hygiene related non-compliances are uncovered but most importantly you will lead a motivated team in achieving departmental and business Key Performance Indicators in line with departmental and company objectives.

The successful Hygiene Manager will possess food industry experience, ideally within the chilled food sector. You will have sound knowledge of microbiology and be a cohesive team manager with exacting standards in regard to operator competency and development, High Care HACCP principles for Hygiene and High Care GMP. You will be joining a business who have been on a real journey over the last 12 months and who are now equipped to push in and become market leaders in their core sectors.
