Development Technologist / NPD Technologist

Job Description

A Development Technologist / NPD Technologist is required for this leading chilled food manufacturer based commutable from Northampton, Corby, Wellingborough, Kettering, Leicester and Milton Keynes.

Working alongside Technical and Commercial teams you will be responsible for idea generation working from brief through to launch. This will involve trialling new ideas, sample making and working with the process team to ensure smooth delivery through the factory ensuring supporting documentation is tracked and accurate. You will calculate product costings and have a basic commercial awareness to ensure that the innovation projects deliver against commercial targets and goals.

This role will suit individuals from a food manufacturing background who posses a passion for results; a good technical background and well developed thinking skills. You will have strong communication skills, have the ability to form cohesive relationships both internally and externally and preferably have experience of working with Major Retailers within a product development role.
