Quality / QA Manager - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

Our client is an fmcg manufacturer of chilled based food products based in the Northamptonshire area. They currently require the services of a QA Manager with experience of working within a high care manufacturing environment. Your key focus will be to implement systems that ensure the quality of all products and monitor hygiene standards within the factory. As Quality Assurance Manager within this chilled high care environment you will be required to perform audits covering raw materials through to finish product and apply corrective action to any non-compliance. Alongside managing the QA team a key role will be maintaining the quality manual, reviewing HACCP and complying with BRC standards. You will work closely across all departments ensuring the constant monitoring and review of general safety standards on the factory floor. To be successful you must have a sound understanding of quality procedures from within a food manufacturing environment. You will have worked with high care areas and be a motivational leader with ambitions to further your career in this diverse business.
