Job Description

Our client need a seasoned purchasing professional who has a strong background in FMCG or food manufacturing. Having worked closely with NPD you will understand the demands of each separate project and have had purchasing responsibility for raw materials, tooling, printing - in short, you have been involved in the entire process. You will have proven skills and building relationships and ideally in getting branded products to market. A good project manager who can multi-task and bring the team with you. You will have managed third party suppliers and be comfortable with running tenders to their conclusion/selection stage. You will be a strong communicator and have built relationships with your operations and marketing colleagues. You will be CIPS qualified or studying towards it. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce your buying skills to this major food manufacturer who have first class succession planning to develop permanent employees augmenting openings across the businesses.
