Senior Process Development Roles

Job Description

Our Client is a chilled own label food manufacturer in the East Midlands. They are looking for outstanding Process candidates to face Major Retailer accounts.

The remit of the role is to ensure a customer approved product is delivered from development through to launch against a critical path, involving all parties and delivering total customer satisfaction. You will therefore work closely with creative NPD, Technical and Manufacturing colleagues to ensure that process innovation meets the overall needs of the business. This company is part of a major UK food group, so career development opportunities are excellent.

Key activities:
· Organising, conducting and planning factory trials - raw materials, processes, equipment
and people.
· Customer facing role - pre-productions, panels and at launches.
· Organising trial outputs - shelf life samples, nutritional testing, trial reports and
organoleptic assessments.
· Assessment and review of trial results and outcomes.
· Customer approval of factory launches.
Key skills:
· Essential food manufacturing background, preferably chilled.
· Food graduate: educated to HND/Degree level or equivalent.
· Strong interpersonal abilities and influencing skills.
· Flexibility and a 'can do' approach.
· Capability to look at the whole NPD process and make improvements.
