QA Supervisor

Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced QA professional to join a large blue chip company to ensure the Quality Assurance systems and product integrity are maintained. The ideal candidate will possess food manufacturing experience, a higher level food qualification, auditing and supervisory experience. Additionally, it will be beneficial if they have high care and microbiological knowledge.

The core tasks will be:

· managing the QA team
· ensuring the documented quality system procedures are adhered to
· liaising with production to ensure compliance with code of practices
· attending factory trials
· auditing the quality management system
· daily sampling
· investigating customer complaints and over spec micro
