Process Development Technologist

Job Description

Can you turn one into many? Do you like managing multiple projects and successfully bringing it all together? If so, we have a process development role for a highly respected employer working with all the major retailers that will tick the boxes for you. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and enjoy problem solving to cope with the fast and varied product launches and factory scale ups from the concept kitchen. Therefore we are looking for someone with a food related education and some exposure to a food manufacturing environment, possibly as a development technologist dealing with concept to launch or in a process role, however graduates with a years industry exposure would also be considered. Other duties include:

· In conjunction with Production and New Product Development team facilitate the transfer of new products from the development stage into the factory.
· Assist with new product factory trials in association with Production, Buying, Engineering and Technical Services departments
· Draw up all the paperwork associated with new products to include HACCP, raw material and final product specifications, final product standards, pack copy, artwork and the related factory process control and QC sheets.
