Job Description

We have a highly visible Hygiene Manager position for a capable and accountable high calibre professional. This is working for a large blue chip food manufacturing company who place a huge emphasis on individual development and who are market leaders in a number of different categories.

This Hygiene Manager position will be responsible for the recruitment and development of all hygiene staff to drive continuous improvement and will report into the Factory Manager. KPI's will be used to ensure cleaning standards and monitor performance. This role will also be directly responsible for the hygiene department budget.

Therefore we require someone who is highly accountable and has strong man management skills. Their experience should be from a food manufacturing background (preferably chilled) and should show a strong record of both personal and career development. They should have knowledge of H&S, COSHH and HACCP, and experience of auditing, managing a budget and Microsoft programmes.
