Technical Manager - Chilled Foods

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Manager or Quality Manager with chilled foods experience based in the East Anglia area to join this ambitious chilled foods manufacturing organisation. As Technical Manager within this chilled foods manufacturing environment you will be required to perform audits covering raw materials through to finish product and apply corrective action to any non-compliance. This is a 'hands on' role driving the implementation of robust quality and technical systems to support and co-ordinate internal audits and HACCP programmes, you will manage the QA Team and consistently monitor and review general standards on the factory floor. Furthermore, as Technical Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality manual, reviewing HACCP and complying with BRC standards. This is a demanding site so the ideal candidate will need to have strong communication and leadership skills, have a proven track record of managing a team and have the ability to drive new initiatives and support business development.
