Our client is a major international manufacturer with an excellent reputation for innovation and the quality of its extensive range of products. Constantly seeking to perfect its consumer offering and in search of healthier ingredients for some of their products, they now seek the expertise of an Oils and Fats R&D Technologist. Your primary objective in this role will be to provide robust scientific solutions and guidance in both the development of innovative new products and to existing product challenges.

Playing a pivotal role within major international project activity you will have a key focus in spearheading the reduction of saturated fats within specific areas of their product portfolio. This will entail interfacing on an international basis with middle/senior management bringing valuable technical support to their operations and the business.

As someone who likes to challenge the status quo and pioneer developments, you will be aware of the latest trends, techniques and scientific innovations that could enhance progress within other project teams and deliver a competitive edge.

Degree or ideally Phd qualified you will be currently be viewed as food product or food ingredient champion and have the prerequisite scientific and development expertise within Oils and Fats product innovation. Facilitating a broad spectrum of projects involving  existing product improvements and the future formulation of the next generation of products, you will enjoy working within a vibrant and team focused environment. Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills you should also enjoy dealing with the complexity of project coordination and the thrill gained from successful product launches.
