Planned Maintenance Manager - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

We have a new vacancy for a Planned Maintenance Manager at a blue chip food manufacturer. This is a day-based role, basic Monday to Friday with flexibility to cover weekends and out of hours as needed. We are looking for an engineering graduate, preferably with experience of change management and leading a team of engineers.

You will be working to the highest safety standards and will need experience of driving safety performance in a large site with automation. You will be able to raise the pace and standards of the maintenance service on site, through a highly skilled technical team. You should be able to demonstrate experience in managing the repair and maintenance of a variety of functions, including packaging machinery, conveying systems and warehousing equipment (automated crane storage). With experience and capability of taking a strong lead in improving performance and in growth related engineering projects.

In summary your remit will be to optimise top quality production through the safe efficient and effective use of resources; to drive and implement continuous improvement; and to manage the allocation of engineering resources to meet agreed key performance indicators in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
