Senior Development Technologist

Job Description

My Client based in the North Lincolnshire area are looking to appoint a Senior Development Technologist / Product Manager to work closely with the Development Chefs to ensure that products are developed to meet the specific brief and meet customer and legislative criteria. You will ensure that all products are submitted with the required paperwork and costing information, agree with the Development Chefs the specification of new ingredients, manage the scale up, shelf life and nutritional testing of products in line with the critical path and feed back any issues to the business.

The successful Senior Development Technologist / Product Manager will have experience of driving continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives, specifically with regards to ingredients, manufacturing processes and quality. You will be educated to a minimum of HND level and have experience of working within the NPD function of a fast paced chilled food manufacturing business. A strong communicator and team player you will have excellent organisational skill and a flexible approach to work.
