Shift Manager

Job Description

My client manufacture branded and own label Food products for the major multiples and they are currently looking to recruit a Shift Manager to work a fixed day shift. Working to GMP standards and ensuring product quality and health and safety are not compromised, you will ensure the delivery of agreed KPIs, supporting and developing a team of operatives. You will also have the opportunity to lead cost reduction projects so previous experience of project management would be advantageous.

This role is suited to a strong people manager who has exposure to fast paced manufacturing, preferably food, and with knowledge of OEE and/or DWOR. You will be tenacious and driven and have the ability to lead and motivate a department of manufacturing operatives through an innovative approach and excellent communication skills. You will possess good numeric and problem solving skills and a 'can do' attitude.

This role is commutable from areas including Chesterfield, Nottingham, Derby, Newark and Grantham.
