Process Development Technologist

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a recognised market leading FMCG business. They have a heritage for creating and developing iconic food and drink brands for the global market.

Your role as Process Development Technologist will be broad, encompassing all areas of Research and Development (R&D), NPD and Technical. You will project manage products from concept to launch working closely with all related departments and you will ensure all continuous improvement initiatives are fully supported and delivered in time and on budget. Reporting into a Technical Manager and working within a current team of four, you'll lead factory trials, troubleshoot production issues and drive step change manufacturing projects to ensure the formulation of the product is compliant with company expectations.

To be successful you'll ideally be degree educated in a subject such as Food Technology, Food Science or Chemistry. You will have worked within an NPD or Technical capacity in the food and drink industry gaining exposure to factory trials and product launches.
