Job Description

What the placement entails
Our European Technical Services team sets the policies and
standards, and develops the systems for quality and food safety
across our European business. Ensuring our products meet the
increasingly demanding expectations of customers is what the
function is all about. And during the course of this 12-month
placement, you'll get a unique insight into their work.
The invaluable on-the-job training you'll get working on a wide
range of projects, together with a variety of more formal learning
opportunities will boost your knowledge of everything from Quality
Management to Risk Assessment and Process Improvement. Just like
our graduate joiners, you'll be given your own specially tailored
development plan. And just like them you'll receive regular
progress reviews, as well as the advice and support of a mentor
from the senior management team.
Who we're looking for
To be considered, you'll need at least 280 UCAS points
and you must be on course for a 2:1 or above in a science-related
subject. But every bit as important as a good set of grades will be
the personal qualities you bring: an enquiring mind, an analytical
approach; a willingness to back up your projects with some good,
solid research. Above all, you need to be the kind of person who
likes to challenge the status quo and who's not afraid to chip in
with their own ideas. Someone who's prepared to push themselves and
who'll respond with enthusiasm to every challenge we set.
