Quality Inspector /QA

Job Description

This client is a sector leading and growing food manufacturing business supplying two of the leading major UK retailers. They are best known for their product quality and innovation. As part of the truly challenging growth agenda and in line with the recent restructure of the Technical team they are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector / QA.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager you will take full ownership of product quality and compliance. Working with the production team your responsibilities will include encouraging line operators to take ownership of quality, problem solving and dealing with day to day quality and food safety issues along with monitoring and completing all associated documentation.

With a relevant food-production background, you will have an understanding of BRC version 5 and will have actively been involved in implementing various quality systems. You will have a working knowledge of the retailer's codes of practice, demonstrate excellent communication skills and be proactive and forward thinking.
