Interim Product Development Manager

Job Description

This interim assignment requires an individual with extensive food industry knowledge and a good network of contacts. With a background in manufacturing and retail, you will set yourself demanding targets and have the drive, tenacity, energy and passion to meet those. Proven skills in sourcing new suppliers - engaging, influencing and coaching them to achieve the standards required is key to this role. An understanding and awareness of technical issues and soil association requirements would be of significant interest.

You will have refined your project management and presentation skills, and be a strategist who works on long term plans and sits close to the finite detail in the short term. Influencing is key to this position, as you need to persuade and coach your supplier network taking a collaborative/partnership approach. Being an intelligent operator who can rapidly prioritise, you will understand the dynamics of this major retail organisation.
