Raw Material Quality Manager

Job Description

This role will be working on a food manufacturing site that works closely with its core customers in a highly developed partnership. This site has high standards of technical excellence and is looking for someone to strengthen its relationships with its core suppliers.

The key remit for this role is to lead and direct the technical supplier management of all materials by promoting positive supplier relationships, establishing clearly agreed specifications and developing robust KPI measures that demonstrate improved supplier performance. Whilst in this role you will also be visiting and working closely with suppliers in order to gain a better understanding of the raw materials.

Ideally you shall possess a quality focused background ideally within the chilled food sector. Perhaps the ideal candidate will be a Factory QA Manager, looking for a new challenge on the way to becoming a Technical Manager, but is frustrated by day to day fire fighting issues on the shop floor. This role will offer new skills and challenges in which to progress your technical career in the food industry.
