Process Technologist

Job Description

Working with a highly respected leading supplier of quality added value products to a innovative and food driven UK retailer, this role has arisen due to the previous incumbent being internally promoted. Reporting to the Process Development Manager, you will be the interface between the NPD and Manufacturing teams, creating and managing critical path plans to product launch. Duties will include:
· Planning and running product trials ensuring that NPD, Production, Technical, Planning and
Engineering teams are fully briefed and prepared.
· Nutritional values and subsequent retail artwork requirements
· Innovation of new ideas and continuous process improvements
· Evaluate factory trials reporting on feasibility of products

The ideal candidate will have a FMCG background and have experience in a process development role within the sector. Computer skills are essential, along with a strong understanding of retail web based specification experience and HACCP and microbiological data and shelf life .
