NPD Chef

Job Description

A one year contract for an NPD Chef to be based at a food retail head office. Chefs with or without previous manufacturing experience will be considered.

This is an outstanding opportunity, a one year contract to work alongside one the UK's most respected NPD Chefs who has an enviable reputation for product foresight and a proven track record for delivering outstanding product innovation. You will be creating benchmark products that will be the blueprint across a retail manufacturing supply base, and work on some highly innovative range that will set the market standards for the future. You will be given fantastic exposure to a number of product categories; therefore to enable you to deliver on the exceptionally high standard and product diversity, you will require a real breadth of first hand culinary experiences. You'll need to be resourceful and liaise closely with key suppliers, participating in product benchmark and review sessions to ensure each new line will be best in class.

This role requires a combination of real passion and enthusiasm for food product development, with key culinary skills and a strong team working ethic. The experience gained in this one year contract will be recognised by the industry as invaluable.
