This busy and fast growing Yorkshire based food manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced planning manager integrate and streamline its planning systems to maximise efficiency and improve customer service levels.

As Planning Manager your role is diverse. You will be take full responsibility for the planning function. You will also provide the link between purchasing and production and converting sales forecasts / budget into production demand. You will maintain and develop a close working relationship with the major customers through review meetings and in depth planning of promotions and increases in demand.

You will need to have experience of managing production plans for an fmcg (ideally food) manufacturer supplying the multiple retailers. As the company produces a wide range of SKUs, you will also need to have the project and time management skills to manage this complexity of production and capacity planning. You must be a team player, able to generate enthusiasm throughout and beyond their work group.
