Kitchen Manager based near Edinburgh: If you are experienced in organising the day-to-day activities for the kitchen of a busy café/restaurant and would like to progress to managing the kitchen of a food manufacturer, this is the perfect opportunity. Our client is a highly successful supplier of chilled ready meals to the supermarkets and is looking for a Kitchen Manager to assist with the day to day running of its Development Kitchen - where all the new products are created! In addition to the day to day housekeeping of the kitchen, your role will include collecting the relevant ingredients required by the kitchen, ensuring the rotation of dry and fridge goods, coordinating samples to send to the client, and ensuring lunches/refreshments are arranged for client visits to the site. This role needs a really well organised individual who can communicate information clearly and enjoys the buzz of a busy environment. The opportunity to learn more about New Product Development and food manufacturing is considerable.
