Applications Technologists, based Bristol, working with European clients: this major food group is looking for experienced Technologists to develop business opportunities with its customers on the Continent, working out of its R&D centre in the UK.

Job Description

You will be expected to identify technologies and market concepts that would capitalise on both businesses' product ranges, which could be in prepared/ready meals; soups/sauces/dressings; or appetiser/side dishes. This will entail developing products or component ingredients to compliment products in one of these sectors, dependent on where your expertise lies.

You will need to have an excellent understanding, too, of the manufacturing processes required to not only bring products to market but to help your customers make the process more efficient.

As this is a customer facing role, your interpersonal skills will need to be first class. Whilst technically competent, you will also need to be able to demonstrate a breadth of commercial awareness and good understanding of market trends etc to identify viable opportunities for your accounts.
