Process Technologist

Job Description

A leading supplier of high quality added value chilled foods to major UK retailers, our client has experienced a period of continued growth and an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Technical / Process team. Reporting to the Business Innovations Manager, you will be the interface between the NPD and Manufacturing teams, creating and managing critical path plans to product launch. Duties will also include planning and running product trials ensuring that NPD, Production, Technical, Planning and Engineering teams are fully briefed and prepared. You will also actively develop new packaging formats and establish ways to improve existing formats. Good interpersonal skills and a flexible approach are important within the busy manufacturing environment. Ensuring that clear and accurate information is provided to all relevant functions will be the key to success. The ideal candidate will have an FMCG chilled background and have experience in a process development role within the sector. Computer skills are essential, along with a strong understanding of customer specifications and HACCP.
