Job Description

A leading supplier of high quality added value chilled foods to major UK retailers, our client has experienced a period of continued growth and an exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Technical / NPD team. Reporting to the Business Innovations Manager, responsibilities will include creating and developing innovative new products, improving existing products and compiling / managing suitable critical paths to launch in line with company / customer requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that each stage of the 'concept to launch' process is adhered to and will liaise with all relevant departments to maintain awareness of ongoing projects.

Good interpersonal skills and a flexible approach are important within the busy manufacturing environment. Ensuring that clear and accurate information is provided to all relevant functions will be the key to success. The ideal candidate will have an FMCG chilled NPD background and have experience in a similar role within the sector. Computer skills are essential, along with a strong understanding of customer specifications and HACCP.
