Interim Technical Manager

Job Description

Our client is a well established food manufacturer supplying the major UK retailers, food service and B2B clients. They have experienced significant growth through the development of new customers and delivering an exciting and innovative range of diverse products.

They have a long term contract need in their technical department. This interim technical job requires an individual who has managed the dynamics of satellite manufacturing sites. You will be a first class communicator who can influence and engage with key stakeholders in the business both over the telephone and face to face. Having dealt with the UK retailers you will have had direct contact with your opposite points of contact with one of the following retailers during your career: Tesco, Asda, Iceland, Sainsbury's or Morrison's.

There will be some European travel during the 14-month interim assignment to audit suppliers and visit manufacturing sites in the business. An ideal opportunity for someone who has a good background in quality who has recently stepped up into technical management and wants to cement their interim professional career with a site technical management role.
