Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a high profile UK retailer in London. With a strong technical background in the food industry you will have worked in detail with a category be that meat, fish, chilled food, food to go, bakery etc. You set high standards in terms of quality of product and your own work procedures and processes. Along with your technical expertise, your skills will be understanding a category, what it's drivers are and how to ensure your ranges are highly competitive in the market place.

You will have worked with a supply base ensuring full compliance to externally set standards either by a retailer or other governing body. This would involve auditing and being in close contact.

· A strong technician with an eye for innovation and commercial acumen
· The ability to influence and engage cross functionally within the business

Ideally you will have a technical qualification or if not, significant experience in the food industry is essential.
