Packaging Technologist

Job Description

We are currently looking for a packaging technologist to join a large branded blue chip organisation that has seen fantastic double digit growth. Working with a number of iconic brands, this role offers excellent opportunity for working in a fast moving and exciting product area, and reports into the Packaging Manager.

With a large emphasis on innovation, we require someone who has a key understanding of packaging materials but who can also work closely and creatively with Marketing colleagues to drive sales. Other responsibilities will include value engineering and sustainability projects.

The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiastic, Can Do attitude and have the ability to initiate and drive developments to completion against testing timescales. You should also have knowledge of cans and glass, and ideally come from a food or drinks packaging background.
