Senior Concept Development (NPD) Technologist

Job Description

Our market leading, innovation led client works in close partnership with its main customers and is recognised for creating premium quality food products.

We require a Concept Development (NPD) Technologist to assist in the formation and development of new product concepts in the food kitchen. Other responsibilities will include:

· Gathering and documentation of information in the kitchen relevant to products passing though the development cycle. e.g. 

Methodologies, yields, Ph, Cooking instructions and photos

· Assist in the presentation of Development Samples to both internal and external customers

· Communication across internal customer departments, relaying and gathering information to and from Product Managers,

Processing. Procurement and Technical

· Formulation of Product Recipes from detail obtained in kitchen, and maintenance of recipe system

· Nutritional analysis of Products where required in accordance with any set criteria’s

· Point of contact with suppliers in sourcing new ingredients, providing feedback on samples, briefing them with desired changes

Therefore we require a NPD Technologist who has previous experience of working within the food industry. They should have a strong creative mindset, be passionate about food and be driven to create new and exciting products.
