The Production Section Leader's main remit is to lead the manufacturing team of this leading food producer from the front displaying confidence and inspiring others. You will ensure the DWOR is completed accurately and update KPI boards accordingly. Apart from motivating and supporting your team, you will also be tasked with continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and reducing wastage. Other key areas will be improving GMP, ensuring all food quality / safety and HACCP standards are adhered to and keeping H&S as a priority. Furthermore, you will play a key part in NPD trials and factory scale up. The ideal background will be somebody already working in the food industry, however transferable skills from the wider FMCG market will also be considered.
