Lead Engineer - Food Manufacturing

One of our key food clients is currently looking for a Lead Engineer to co-ordinate the activities of a team of Engineers in a proactive manner adhering to the necessary procedures. Key accountabilities will include: · Providing support to production teams to ensure performance of equipment · Continuous improvement activities · Participate in NPD trials · Ensure the team are correctly deployed and are performing to the correct standard while ensuring the shift handover does not disrupt productivity The ideal candidate will have a multi skilled background to carry out engineering tasks independently. Ideally they will also have a recognised electrical and mechanical qualification or in-house training. As this is a food manufacturing business FMCG/manufacturing experience is important and someone who has experience of food production processes (and time scales) will have an added advantage.
