Leading an enthusiastic and committed team you will have a pivotal role coordinating projects and advising on design and engineering solutions across the group. Additionally you will have responsibility for the quality and standards of your function as well as ensuring the highest levels of machine safety are maintained. Coaching and developing your team to deliver engineering excellence will be also be a major aspect of this role. As an influential and determined leader , your personal drive to provide a first class service to internal customers will guarantee the timely completion of projects and enhance the departments reputation as an innovator and equipment trouble shooter.

As a degree qualified Engineer you will possess considerable confectionery equipment development capability and have had experience with a variety of CAD packages. With good exposure to team management you should also be able to demonstrate a flair for innovative ideas and proposing project initiatives that will improve and maximise production efficiency. With a completer/finisher profile you will be meticulous in terms of your attention to detail, quality standards, monitoring project progress and addressing customer issues.
